Challenge of the Samurai

Ash and Misty encounter a Pokemon trainer named Samurai in the heart of Viridian Forest. Samurai challenges Ash to a Metapod battle. Suddenly, a swarm of Beedrill attack and steal Ash's Metapod — believing it to be a Kakuna. Later, when Team Rocket shows up, awakening and angering the sleeping Beedrill, Ash's Metapod rushes to protect him. Metapod is ripped open, revealing an evolved Butterfree, which uses its sleep powder on not only the Beedrill, but Team Rocket too!
