Electrode

The second and final stage of evolution for Voltorb. Electrode stores energy under very high pressure and often explodes with little or no provocation. In "The Flame Pokemon-athon," Pikachu rides Squirtle in a race that includes an Onix, a Starmie and a volatile Electrode. When Electrode and its rider fall into a giant hole dug by the terrible Team Rocket, Electrode explodes, destroying everything around it — even the race track!
