As our heroes and Team Rocket bicker, Zapdos appears, filling the air with lightning bolts! Rocks crystallize as the bolts hit them, making everyone run for cover. As Zapdos lands on top of the temple, Pikachu charges up, as if preparing to fight. Against Ash's pleas, Pikachu tries to shock Zapdos, but gets knocked backward by lightning instead.
